The Taco 4900 Series® Bronze Air Separator are designed for the complete elimination of air from closed loop heating and cooling systems, up to a maximum temperature of 240°F and a maximum pressure of 150 psi. The presence of air in these systems can lead to many problems, including irritating noises, reduced efficiency, and internal corrosion of essential parts such as the boiler and radiators.
The 4900 Series® Bronze Air Separator eliminates air through the patented PALL ring process, which removes all micro-bubbles down to 15 microns with minimal pressure loss. They are designed for bi-directional flow, require no minimum run of pipe, and have a convenient 1/2″ tapping for easy installation of an expansion tank.
